Life:

Jaun Elia Life Story ,he was born on December 14, 1931, in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India. In Amroha, he received his early education. Jaun Elia has very communist views.. He became adverse to the idea of a separate state but finally chose to join Pakistan in 1957 and select Karachi as the residing city. According to him, his poetry is recognized for the enduring pain he experience. Jaun was very particular about language. While his diction

is rooted in the classical tradition; he touches on new subjects. He remained in quest of an idea all his life. Unable to find the ideal, he eventually becomes angry and frustrated. , He sensed, perhaps with justification, that he had wasted his talent .

Although he started writing poetry at the age of 8, it wasn’t until he reached 60 that he published his first collection, Shayad.

Rooted in the classical tradition, he tackles new subjects in his poetry.

Early Education

Jaun Elia received his early education under the guidance of his father, Shafiq Hasan Elia. He acquired the degrees of adeeb kamil (Urdu), kamil (Persian), and fazil (Arabic).

Jaun Elia Life Story Furthermore, he compiled letters to Zahida Hina, his estranged wife, as they had parted ways in 1992. His poetry is recognized for understanding pain.

Prose Work

In addition to being a poet, Elia was an editor and a translator. Khalid went on to compile Jaun’s prose work titled “FARNOOD,” which Jaun had been contributing to various magazines from 1958 until his passing in 2002. Moreover, Khalid took on the task of assembling the epic poem “RAMOOZ” by Elia, consisting of 12 tablets. Additionally, he authored a book titled “MAIN YAH MAIN,” featuring articles about Elia contributed by various individuals, including his friends, acquaintances, and prominent literary figures.Elia was not just a poet;

she was also an editor and a translator. Khalid also compiled Jaun’s prose work titled “FARNOOD” to which Jaun had been contributing various magazines from 1958 until his demise in 2002. Further, Khalid compiled the Elia epic poem “RAMOOZ”, consisting of 12 teblets, as well as a book titled “MAIN YAH MAIN,” which contains articles about Elya, written by various individuals, his friends acquaintances, and prominent literary figures. This book gives a deep insight into Jaun’s life and his works and is a very important document for those who are interested in knowing more about Jaun .

Politics:

Jaun Elia was a communist who, in his poems, supported communism in Pakistan. References to class consciousness are also seen in his poems. He was also described as “an anarchist,” a nihilist, and a poet by Duniya News.

Death:
